Nike Free 3.0 2015 Sole---The first thing Nike Air Jordan Womens sale I noticed about the sole of this shoe was that the forefoot felt surprisingly cushy. Despite having the thinnest sole of the three running shoes in the Free line, I feel like the 3.0 has the best forefoot cushioning of the group, and it remains noticeable when running in the shoes. In contrast, the heel has a firmer feel, and this makes for a unique ride ¨C it¡¯s more common for the reverse to be the case. Combined with the extreme flexibility of the siped sole, the unique feel of the cushioning has made for enjoyable ride runs up to 9 miles so far. I actually think I prefer the 3.0 for longer runs over it¡¯s more structured sibling the 5.0 ¨C the 3.0 is one of those shoes that just disappears on my feet.

My typical way of dealing with winter running given the conditions I face is to switch to trail shoes. A trail shoe with decent lugs allows me to stay on the icy sidewalks, which is preferable to risking my life on the road. This winter my trail shoe of choice has been the Nike Wildhorse 2. I¡¯ve been running regularly in this shoe since late January, and have now put enough miles on them to write up a review.

Nike Wildhorse 3 Trail Conclusion If you are a fan of the fit and feel of earlier versions of the Wildhorse Nike Air Max Mens cheap sale or Terra Kiger but feel the need for a bit more protection, the Wildhorse 3 is a great choice. If you want to stick with less shoe, the Terra Kiger 3 stays at 4mm drop and has less midsole stack. I think the move to differentiate the two shoes was a wise one, and allows for more customization of shoe to specific trail needs. I¡¯ll hopefully have a review of the Terra Kiger 3 up sometime this summer, stay tuned!

What frustrates me about this is that the shoe otherwise looks and feels great. I love the new sole, and the forefoot is roomy and has a nice stretchy feel to it. What¡¯s more, the problem could be so easily fixed by just adding a gap of stretchy material into the overlay strap (maybe at the base of the lace row) to allow expansion for a higher volume foot. Seems like something that should have been caught and fixed in the development process. I¡¯m hopeful that the Flyknit upper on the new Free 4.0 will perform better. We¡¯ll see!

So where did I go wrong today? Well, by simulating barefoot running, the Free¡¯s work your feet and legs in ways that more traditional running shoes do not. Thus, it¡¯s recommended that you ease your way into using them so that you don¡¯t overwork muscles that have been long dormant when wrapped up in bulky trainers. The fact that I ran a fast 7-miler in them 2 days ago suggested that I might not have this problem, so I decided to take them out on my 20-mile run this afternoon (big mistake!). The first ten or so miles were fantastic ¨C I felt great, and they really do make you think about your stride and form. While they are well-cushioned and a long ways from true ¡°barefoot running¡± (you need something like the Vibram Fivefingers for that), they definitely feel a lot different than any other shoe I¡¯ve run in. After about mile 10, I started to notice some soreness beginning to creep into my legs in unusual places, and I began to form a blister on my right big toe (I think this was a sock issue and not shoe issue though). By mile 12, my legs were quite fatigued, and I began t Nike Air Max Womens sale o question whether I would make it for the full 20. I decided to persevere, and didn¡¯t worry about pacing or walk breaks from that point on (and there were many walk breaks).

Upper and Fit First things first, this is a great looking shoe. Nike almost always nails it with looks, and the Wildhorse 2 is no exception. I¡¯m a fan of the blue and orange color combo on my pair, and love them as a casual shoe as well as for running (I wore them for about 30-40 miles o Nike Air Shox Mens cheap sale f walking at the Disney World parks a few weeks ago¡).
