adidas Adios Boost 2 medial adidas Adios Boost Adidas ZX 500 OG Femme Vente 2 (top) and 1 (bottom) Conclusion : With the fit dialed in (half size larger), the adidas Adios Boost 2 provides the same great ride as v1. This is a shoe I could use for speed or distance racing, and I love the cushioned yet responsive feel of the sole. For some this might be a 5K racer, for others it might be a marathon racer depending on how much shoe you are used to. Aside from the tricky fit, my only major issue with the Adios Boost is price ¨C at $140 it¡¯s an expensive shoe for a racer. Adidas might counter that durability of the Boost material justifies the price, but that¡¯s a call you will have to make if you want to try them.

The adidas Adios is not a shoe that I would recommend to someone looking for good ground feel, and it¡¯s not a shoe that will do much to promote form change in those who are looking for some help from a more minimal pair of shoes. That being said, it might be a good first step for someone looking to transition slowly downward if they can handle the tapered toebox. It¡¯s also a decent choice as a racing shoe for people who do all of their miles in more traditional 12mm drop shoes ¨C it¡¯s not as big a deviation from what they are used to as a flat with Adidas Originals France Soldes a lower differential. For minimalists, there¡¯s not a lot in this shoe that will appeal, but that¡¯s not really the target audience for a shoe like this. For me, the adidas Hagio meets my needs and fits me better than the Adios, so this is probably not a shoe that will see a lot of action on my feet going forward. That being said, I¡¯m glad that I accepted the offer to try this one out.

adidas adizero Hagio Sole>>>>As for the sole, the Hagio midsole is very firm and fairly stiff. Usually that¡¯s a combination that turns me off, but for some reason in this shoe the combination just seems to work perfectly. The manufacturer specs for stack heights are 23mm heel, 17mm forefoot (midsole only = 16mm heel, 9mm forefoot), but the shoe honestly feels flatter than that to me, and the shoe never seems to get in the way on the run. Because of the firmness of the sole, ground feel is quite good, and the grippy outsole pattern under the forefoot works great out on the roads.

adidas adizero Hagio Toebox>>>>One of my biggest concerns with traditional road flats is that they tend to be rather narrow. I¡¯ve never had much luck with Nike flats, and though the Saucony Grid Type A4 had potential the fit was off for me, and it has caused me foot and ankle trouble on a few occasions. The one exception has been the Mizuno Universe, which in my opinion is one of the nicest shoes on the market (I now have the MWU4 and will be reviewing it soon). The Mizuno Universe is super light and has a generously roomy toebox for a road flat. I think I¡¯m prepared to say that Mizuno now has a solid competitor in the roomy road flat category ¨C the Hagio has more than enough room in the toebox for my feet. It feels roomier than the Saucony Kinvara to me, and is quite comparable to the Mizuno Universe in fit.

Perhaps what I have enjoyed most about the Adios is simply that, as discussed above, it has helped me to confirm that my running form has indeed changed. The fact that I can run in a shoe like this one and not tear apart the heel like I used to is somewhat gratifying.

he Adios is adidas¡ Adidas Originals Pas Cher ¯ distance racing flat. It¡¯s a shoe that can be found on the feet of many of the top elite adidas sponsored marathoners, and last year they released a version with a midsole composed of their recently introduced Boost material. I¡¯d heard a lot of positive praise for the shoe from friends, and despite the fact that it had a higher drop than I typically prefer in a speed shoe (10mm), I wound up loving the ride. In fact, along with the New Balance 1400v2 and Newton Energy, the Adios Boos Adidas Originals Femme France t was one of my top 3 road shoes from 2013.
